Pursue your degree as a full-time student or as a full-time professional. Our programs are available online, on campus, or in a hybrid format that combines both options.
Healthcare practitioners and the patients they serve need support from managers and IT staff. University of the Potomac offers three degree programs designed to equip you for professional roles behind the scenes of healthcare:
Whichever program you choose, you’ll learn to apply theory and research to specific issues within healthcare organizations.
The Master of Healthcare Administration develops your leadership capacity for public, private, and non-profit healthcare organizations. This degree challenges you to understand and apply knowledge of healthcare systems, finance, human resource management, healthcare law and ethics, and more.
We’ve designed our programs to let you choose three elective courses in healthcare administration topics that fit your professional interests. You’ll also complete an applied capstone project at the end of your program—one that pulls together all the theories, concepts, and skills you’ve learned. The goal is to demonstrate your mastery across the curriculum and solve a practical problem in the field.
*Not all electives are available every semester or academic year.
